6th Annual Dogwood Days Garden Party - Saturday, June 16th

Dogwood Days 2018 is capped off on June 16th at 5:00 pm with our 6th Annual Dogwood Days Garden Party.

Help us celebrate the end of Dogwood Days with this wonderful celebration of the glorious dogwoods and grounds of the Wakefield Estate. The Dogwood Days Garden Party is the Wakefield Estate’s annual fundraiser, celebrating the legacy of Polly Wakefield and her extraordinary gift to the community.

Join your friends at the garden party and enjoy fabulous food and drinks, live jazz, and the chance to bid on many great items in the silent auction. Tickets are $75 and must be purchased in advance. Festivities begin at 5 pm. For more information or to RSVP, call 617-333-0924.

It's official! Due to the predicted steady rain for Saturday, we are moving the Trillium Garden at the Wakefield Estate to its rain date —  Sunday, May 20, 1:00pm-5:00pm.

Everything else remains the same - enjoy a fine selection of draft beers from Trillium Brewing Company, food trucks, live music, activities for children, farm animals, garden games and more - all surrounded by the newly-accredited arboretum and gardens of the Wakefield Estate.

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday!

The Mary M. B. Wakefield Charitable Trust is excited to announce it will hold its second annual Mother's Day Tea Sunday, May 13th starting at 3:00 in the Front Garden. $10 donation requested for adults attending tea and children are welcome. Reservations are requested if you plan to attend the tea, but are not needed to enjoy a walk during Open Hours which will be 1:00-4:00 that Sunday. RSVP by calling 617-333-0924 x22.This event is weather dependent and will be held in the Isaac Davenport Mansion in the event of inclimate weather.
