As we approach and get ready for Dogwood Days, June 5-20, the arboretum is open for self-guided visits daily, 9 am - 3 pm Monday through Friday. $5 suggested donation.

This year we are holding three special members' events that you won’t want to miss:
  • Our popular “Wine Cheese and Trees Trivia Tour, 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 9th.  Space is limited; to purchase a membership click HERE
  • Dogwood Beer Garden, 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 19.  Space is limited; to purchase a membership click HERE
  • Members Summer Solstice Picnic, 1:00 pm Sunday, June 20.  Space is limited; to purchase a membership click HERE
Members will have free access to all three of these members' events!

The Mary May Binney Wakefield Arboretum includes over 22 acres of formal gardens, orchards, woodlands and wetlands, and during the month of June over 300 flowering kousa dogwood trees showcased during Dogwood Days. We hope to see you soon!

On non-Dogwood Days weekends, we are open for visits to the arboretum and gardens by appointment. Suggested donation is $5. To schedule a visit, call 617-333-0924 x22.

The report was the final product of her 2011-12 independent studio of the Landscape Institute of the Boston Architectural College and can be read in its entirety at the Arnold Arboretum Library.)
