Franc Graham to kick off Summer Garden Music series Wed, July 18th

Join us for a delightful and relaxing evening in the garden with the kickoff of the Wakefield Estate’s 2018 Summer Garden Music series on Wednesday, July 18th from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Wakefield Estate. This month's evening of garden splendor, music and refreshments will feature one of Milton’s own, guitarist and singer/songwriter extraordinaire Franc Graham. Franc "delivers grit and groove, poetry without pretention, mood without moodiness and her music has been described as “immensely underrated” and “cool and commanding.” The Garden Music series offers visitors an opportunity to stroll the gardens and hear great music in a casual format. Tickets are $10; this event is subject to cancellation due to weather. The Wakefield Estate is located at 1465 Brush Hill Road. Save this date, Wednesday, August 15, for the next event in the series. Join us for Dogwood Days 2018, a week-long celebration June 9-16, kicking off with Garden Conservancy Open Day - Saturday, June 9th

Join us for Dogwood Days 2018 - a week-long celebration of the invaluable gift Polly Wakefield gave to the community and timed to coincide with the bloom of 300+ kousa dogwood trees.  During Dogwood Days the grounds are open daily, Saturday, June 9 - Friday, June 15, 10am-4pm daily.  The week includes open gardens, guided tours, tree sale and a variety of special events, capped off with our 6th Annual Dogwood Days Garden Party. Join your friends at the garden party and enjoy fabulous food and drinks, live jazz, and the chance to bid on many great items in the silent auction.

Dogs and Dogwoods - Sunday, June 10th

Join us for a day of fun for families and four-legged friends featuring "dog" related activities, including an informal dog show at 2:00pm. There will be activities for the kids, face painting, hot "dogs" and other refreshments available, and animals to visit. Plus stroll the gardens and enjoy the dogwoods at their peak. All dogs must be kept on leash and be under their owner's control. Admission to the estate is a suggested donation of $5 during Dogwood Days, children are free.

Wine, Cheese, and Trees Trivia Tour - Wednesday, June 13th

Join us for one of our most fun events: Wine, Cheese, and Trees Trivia Tour, Wednesday starting at 6:30 pm.

Enjoy light refreshments, a glass of wine and try your hand at "tree trivia" while strolling the formal gardens. Learn about the history of the estate's signature trees. Donation suggested; Please RSVP at 617-333-0924.
