Don't miss our fun wreath-making workshop!
This year - Two nights by popular demand!

This year, we will hold our popular wreath-making workshop two nights -Tuesday, Dec. 3rd and Thursday, Dec.10th from 6:30-8:00 pm (please note this date changed!). Participants will create a fabulous holiday wreath for their door with locally-sourced fancy evergreens. This workshop will begins with a short demonstration on how to make a wreath base from locally sourced greens. After that, floral designer extraordinaire Lisa Ahern will show how to embellish that plain base and turn it into a custom-made show stopper! All materials provided but feel free to bring your own decorations. The fee for this class is $40; $30 for members. Space is limited and registration is required; call 617-333-0924 x22.

Get your tickets now for 3nd Annual Merry Historic Milton Progressive Dinner Tour!

Three of Milton’s iconic estates will host the 3rd annual Merry Historic Milton Progressive Dinner - an exclusive progressive holiday dinner tour visiting the Eustis Estate, the Wakefield Estate, and the Forbes House Museum. Each house will be decorated for the holidays and feature one course and a signature drink, drawing inspiration from the holiday traditions of New England. Proceeds support the educational programs of these three Milton non-profit organizations. This festive event will take place Friday, December 13.

The tour begins at the Eustis Estate with appetizers, and festive music. Next, enjoy a cozy fireside stop at the Wakefield Estate for the main course, then on to the Forbes House Museum for a nightcap and dessert with live music. Tickets are $110 for members of Historic New England, Forbes House, or Wakefield Estate; $125 non-members. 

Participants will travel by bus to the three sites, and can choose between two start times (the tour lasts three hours):
6:00 pm. Return to the Eustis Estate at 9:00 pm.
7:30 pm. Return to the Eustis Estate at 10:30pm

Fall Holiday Inspiration with Lisa Ahern Thursday, 11/14

Floral designer Lisa Ahern will give a dazzling holiday floral demonstration on Thursday, November 14th at 6:30 pm. Enjoy some light refreshments as Lisa demonstrates how to make several stunning holiday showpieces. At the end of the evening, these decorations will be raffled off among those present. Based on past experience, this event often sells out, so reserve your spot now.

3rd Annual Blue Hills Great Estates Fall Foliage Day
Bradley, Eustis, & Wakefield Estates show off their fall colors
Saturday, November 2, 10 am-3 pm
Three local iconic garden estates will host the 3rd Annual Blue Hills Great Estates Fall Foliage Day, showcasing their autumn landscapes and designed gardens on Saturday, November 2, 10 am-3 pm (rain date Sunday, Nov. 3). The Trustees' Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate, Historic New England's Eustis Estate, and the Wakefield Estate and Arboretum will open their grounds to visitors to celebrate the fall season with landscape and garden tours, nature crafts, seasonal beverages and treats, and activities for the whole family.
Here at the estate, visitors can enjoy guided walks through our unique arboretum and grounds, including our new dwarf conifer collection that features over 50 species of conifers, at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm; caramel apple-making for kids and cider for adults, along with nature-based crafts and tree identification activities for the whole family. At each estate, tickets for members are $5; $10 for non-members; $20/family. Children under 18 are free.
