Debbie Merriam
Debbie Merriam serves as the Executive Director of the Mary May Binney Arboretum. She earned a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Environmental Studies and a Master of Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in cultural landscapes. An ISA Certified Arborist, she also sits on the board of the American Conifer Society and participates in research projects focused on invasive species in the Blue Hills Reservation. Additionally, she frequently lectures for Master Gardeners.

Ellen Scheid
Ellen Scheid serves as the Horticulturist at the Mary May Binney Wakefield Arboretum. She has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from Indiana University and is a
Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist. With previous experience at the Norcross Wildlife Foundation and the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, Ellen has established a strong
foundation in horticulture. She possesses a deep passion for native plants and enjoys incorporating them into formal landscapes. Committed to the management, preservation, and
enhancement of natural spaces, she draws inspiration from creating landscapes that are both ecologically rich and visually appealing.

Mathew Noiseux
Matthew Noiseux is the Facilities Manager at the Mary May Binney Wakefield Arboretum. He has 34 years of experience in facilities management across federal, state, and local nonprofit
sectors. He has merged his passion for woodworking and restoration carpentry with his appreciation for trees and the outdoors. As a licensed general contractor, he specialized in
museum display and interpretive signage, wayfinding, and visitor engagement. He possesses experience in trail building, forestry, orchard management, and design-focused planting.
Matthew has contributed locally as an AmeriCorps host and mentor, served as a liaison for BSA Eagle Scout Projects, participated on the town CPA/CPC committee, and engaged as a garden club member and speaker. In his free time, he creates monumental bronze and welded stainless steel sculptures.
