SATURDAY, MAY 30th
4:30- 7:00 PM Bright Botanicals Celebration
Join us for botanically inspired cocktails, mocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and music. This is a family-friendly event. Members are free.

SUNDAY, May 31st
10:00 AM-12:00 PM Botanical Cyanotypes
After a brief explanation of what cyanotype is and the methods that participants will use, attendees will be able to create their own cyanotype print. Register here
12:00 PM-2:00 PM Pressed Flowers
After a demonstration of how to create a shadowbox, participants will select flowers and make one to take home. Register here
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3rd
6:00 PM-8:00 PM Wine, Cheese, and Trees!
Always a highlight during Dogwood Days, Debbie Merriam will lead a tour of the gardens, asking trivia questions about wine, cheese, and trees while participants sip a beverage of their choice. Register here
SATURDAY, JUNE 6th
9:00 AM-9:30 AM Sheep Shearing
Watch our flock get their summer haircuts! The sheep shearer works quickly, so arrive early! No pre-registration required.
10:00 AM-2:00 PM Wakefield Field Day
Field day is a family-friendly event with a Fun Run, games, our traditional dog show, a bubble fest, and garden tours. Register here
11:00 AM-12:00 PM Animal Encounters with Massachusetts Audubon
Learn about Massachusetts native fauna with Massachusetts Audubon! We are so thrilled to host the Massachusetts Audubon and welcome their animal ambassadors to the arboretum. Pre-registration is required due to limited space. Register here
** If you register to come to the Animal Encounter program, registration is not required for Field Day.
SUNDAY, JUNE 7th
9:00 AM-10:00 AM Morning Light Walking Tour and Coffee
Enjoy a guided tour through the gardens and experience the Dogwood flowers in the quiet morning light with a cup of coffee. Register here
