2012 Summer Landscape Interns Set the Bar High

This summer was the sixth year the Wakefield Estate assembled a Summer Landscape Crew and we think this year’s crew may have been the best yet. Eight students from local high schools united as a team for six weeks, proving that sometimes when the right combination of people pull together, eight can accomplish the work of twelve! We’re very proud of the 2012 crew and grateful for all they did to make the estate look even more beautiful.

This year’s crew members were: Malik Alfred (Lexington), Kristal Avalo (Boston Prep), David Collins (Milton), Kathryn Crowley (Sharon), Celly Gomes (Boston International/Newcomers Academy), Janilde Gomes (Boston International/Newcomers Academy), Fritz Najac (Pacific Rim), Shabriel Parisien (Pacific Rim).
