Raise Your Own Backyard Chickens – Workshop 2/26 9:00 -11:00 am IN-PERSON

The COVID pandemic has led many to begin gardening and raising their food. Our annual Backyard Homesteading workshops offer a chance to find out how. Our Raising Backyard Chickens session is designed for people interested in learning how to start a backyard chicken coop and grow healthy, productive chickens for years of enjoyment and fresh food. This year’s session will be in-person, but we recommend masks and full vaccination status. After a slide show covering the basics in the Carriage Barn, we’ll take a tour of the coops on-site so dress accordingly. Please note: this session may be switched to online due to weather or COVID considerations. Suggested donation for this session – $20; $12 for members.
