Dads, Dogs, and Dogwoods- a family fun event!

It’s that time of year again – time for our Dogs and Dogwoods event. Each June, the Wakefield Estate welcomes visitors to celebrate Dogwood Days, the annual blooming of hundreds of Polly Wakefield's kousa dogwood trees and this year's dogwood bloom display is shaping up to be spectacular -- and not to be missed!. The week-long celebration winds up with our Dogs and Dogwoods Day, and this year it falls on Father’s day, Sunday, June 21st, so it will be DADS, Dogs, and Dogwoods! Families are invited to visit with their four-legged family members in tow.
A day of fun for families and four-legged friends
Activities include:
Beautiful kousa dogwoods on display
Hot Dog stand and other refreshments available
Face painting
Self-guided garden tours
Friendly Dog Show for kids and adults at 1:00 pm
Blue Hill Brewery Tasting for Dads (and Moms) at 2:00!
$5 per person or $10 per family – no dog required!
