More Summer Garden Music Wed. August 18 with the Rozzicats!

Next up in our Summer Garden Music Series, hailing all the way from Roslindale, this month’s featured musical guests are the Rozzicats, playing a variety of  vocal and instrumental acoustic music, from old folk to new Americana, and from Beatles to bluegrass. Rozzicats’ members are Jenn Goldson (vocals, guitar), Andy Hollinger (vocals, mandolin, dobro), Kim Patch (fiddle) and Eric Smalley (bass).

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy an evening in the garden serenaded by local musical talents. Space is limited; pre-registration required. Tickets $10; $5/members. This event is weather dependent. Rain date is August 19th.

Equinox Garden Tour - September 22nd at 6 pm

How quickly the summer has passed! The fall equinox, the day when autumn begins, is quickly approaching. The word "equinox" is derived from the Latin aequinoctium, from aequus (equal) and nox (noctis) (night). Twice each year, on the first day of spring and first day of autumn, the sun passes directly above the equator as the earth makes its yearly trek around the sun, making the daylight and nighttime hours approximately equal; it is the moment of celestial balance between light and dark. Join us to observe and celebrate this astronomical event with an evening tour of the garden and a visit to our beautiful labyrinth.
