Don't miss our fun wreath-making workshop! It's time to resume one of our favorite holiday traditions!
This year - Two nights by popular demand and for safe social distancing!
Wednesday, December 8th, 6:00 pm & Thursday, Dec. 9th, 6:00 pm
This year, due to popular name and to ensure safe distancing, we will hold our popular wreath-making workshop two nights -Wednesday, Dec. 8th and Thursday, Dec.9th from 6:00-7:30 pm. Participants will create a fabulous holiday wreath for their door with locally-sourced fancy evergreens. This workshop will begins with a short demonstration on how to make a wreath base from locally sourced greens. After that, floral designer extraordinaire and Milton cemetery Superintendent Lisa Ahern will show how to embellish that plain base and turn it into a custom-made showstopper! All materials provided but feel free to bring your own decorations. The fee for this class is $50; $30 for members. Supplies and space are limited and registration is required; call 617-333-0924 x22.
Due to ongoing public health concerns, people wishing to participate in the wreath-making session virtually will have the option of arranging to pick up all the supplies they need to make their holiday wreaths at home. If needed, a zoom session will be provided giving a short demonstration on how to make a wreath base, followed by a segment by floral designer extraordinaire Lisa Ahern on how to embellish the base and turn it into a showstopper! Wreath kits for virtual attendees will be available for pick-up Wednesday, December 8 and Thursday, December 9; call to make arrangements.
