As part of our “Backyard Homesteading Series,” we're offering a family-friendly DIY Felting Class on Saturday, January 16 from 1:00-3:00pm. Milton's own Annie LaVigne will instruct children of any age on how to "felt," which means manipulating wool so it can be made into an object. Participants will be able to choose from two projects, making a felt acorn or making a felt landscape. The program is $20 per person- all materials provided. Parents are welcome to join for an additional $5 and members will receive a $5 discount. Space is limited and pre-registration is required by calling 617-333-0924 x22.
