August Garden Music Series Features Dean Stevens 8/30

Join us on Wednesday, August 30th from 6:30-8:00 pm, for another chance to stroll the gardens at their peak summer beauty, enjoy a refreshing beverage, and hear great music. This month we feature local singer/songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Dean Stevens. For over 25 years, Dean has delighted audiences of all ages with his exuberant self-taught guitar style and expressive voice. Dean sings in English and Spanish with songs that explore personal and social topics, paints sketches of people and places and celebrates the earth. 
Admission is $10; this event is subject to cancellation due to weather. The Wakefield Estate is located at 1465 Brush Hill Road.

Join us for the kickoff of the Wakefield Estate’s 2017 garden music series on Wednesday, July 26th from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Wakefield Estate. This month's evening of garden splendor, music and refreshments will feature Richie Parsons, a prominent Boston musician known for his catchy tunes whose recent release Honey & Tears can be heard on CDBaby. His trio includes Elisa Birdseye on viola and Doug Harper on guitar, with Parsons on vocals and guitar. The Garden Music series offers visitors an opportunity to stroll the gardens, enjoy a refreshing beverage and hear great music in a casual format. Tickets are $10; this event is subject to cancellation due to weather. The Wakefield Estate is located at 1465 Brush Hill Road. Save this date, Wednesday, August 30, for the next event in the series featuring Dean Stevens, a folk musician.

With the success of Dogwood Days, we always receive questions about visitation. While we are open for business Monday through Friday, we are generally open for visits by appointment only, during scheduled open hours, or during our public programs. We request visitors to call to schedule a visit (617) 333-0924 x22.

We will have public open hours Sunday, July 9th and 16th from 1:00 - 4:00. Check our calendar for additional hours as they are scheduled or call for more information.

For these open hours, it is not necessary to schedule a visit.

Our Summer Garden Music Series will begin July 26th, 6:30-8:00 pm with a casual performance featuring Richie Parsons.

Join us for an evening of garden music! Following the success of last year's series, we are again inviting the public to join us on the final Wednesday of July and August for an evening to stroll the gardens, enjoy a refreshing beverage and hear great music featuring aspiring local musicians. Our 2017 summer music series begins Wednesday,July 26th, featuring Richie Parsons, a prominent Boston musician known for his catchy tunes whose recent release Honey & Tears can be heard on CDBaby.
